Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

Commentary

Rijsun – (impurity, uncleanness), here it aims “wicked and sinful thoughts and matters”.

‘Ahlal-bayti – {O people of the (Prophet`s) Household}, it aims “wives (May Allaah be pleased with them) of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and those who were admitted clearly by him in the folk of the Household”.

It is commanded: You are liable to abide by these restrictions so that you may save yourselves from bad thoughts and obscene matters, your hearts should be chaste and pure, and you should become pattern of good virtues and manners for teaching other people. You will acquire such internal chasteness and cleanness by offering prayers regularly, paying the poor-due and following the Commandments of Allaah Almighty and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). You should never commit such deeds which may become cause of Their displeasure.

It is special graciousness of Allaah Almighty upon you that verses of Holy Qur’an are recited at your homes every time. Only Allaah Almighty is Who explains such matters, Who knows the end of every work, Who is entirely Aware of all secrets, and Who is Knower of everything’s every condition. Allaah Almighty is Most Merciful Who sent His Messenger towards you, so that you may learn all matters by means of him (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).
