Forgiveness and
great reward
Chapter “FAATIR’” - (The Creator) - 35
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

إِنَّمَا يَدْعُوا۟ حِزْبَهُۥ لِيَكُونُوا۟ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ 6b ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ 7

6b. He only summoneth
his faction to be Owners of the flaming Fire.
7. Those who
disbelieve, theirs will be an awful Doom; and those who believe and do good
works, theirs will be forgiveness and a great Reward.

6b. ‘Innamaa yad-‘uu
hizbahuu liyakuunuu min ‘As-haabis- Sa-‘iir.
7. ‘Allaziina kafaruu
lahum ‘Azaabun- shadiid.
Wallaziina ‘aamanuu wa ‘amilus-saalihaati lahum-magfiratunw-wa ‘Ajrun
kabiir.

Commentary
In the verses before this, it was instructed that you should abstain
from showy things of the world and escape from the tricks of Satan. These both
things prevent the mankind from admitting the truth. Satan can catch such person
in a trap easily whose heart inclines towards the world. He; the great adversary
of the mankind, who is called Iblis, does not miss any chance of
misleading, even by using the name of Allaah Almighty.
For instance, he says: Allaah is very Forgiving and
Merciful. There is no need for mankind to escape from sins by controlling own
desires, he should enjoy his life in merriments thoughtlessly as he desires. And
then he can repent after committing any sin. While Allaah forgives them
who repent of sins then why do you fear?
In short, it is not so much easy to be saved from the tricks of
Satan. Many intelligent people were misguided by him who went astray. It is
commanded: Understand well that there is no works of Satan save it that he
should prepare a group of people who believe in him, then cause them to pass
through dark streets of evils, carry them at the bank of the Hell and then cast
them into the flaming Fire.
Behold! Use your sense! It is Our Promise that We shall make those
persons rich with rewards and dignities in this world and in the Hereafter who
will believe in Allaah Almighty, His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings
and peace of Allaah be upon him) and do good works. We shall forgive
their errors and there will be great reward for them because they kept their
duty to Allaah Almighty due to His fear. But a severe punishment is ready for them who did not believe in their
Creator and followed their desires during their life in the world. Our Lord! Preserve
us. Amen.
