Might and Forgiving
Chapter “FAATIR’” - (The Creator) - 35
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَٱلدَّوَآبِّ وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوَٰنُهُۥ كَذَٰلِكَ إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى ٱللَّهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ ٱلْعُلَمَٰٓؤُا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ غَفُورٌ 28

28. And of men and
beasts and cattle, in like manner, diverse hues? The erudite among His
bondmen fear Allah Alone. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Forgiving.

28. Wa minan-naasi
wad-da-waaabbi wal-‘an-‘aami mukh-talifun ‘alwaanuhuu
kazaalik. ‘Innamaa yakh-shAllaaha min ‘ibaadiHil-‘ulamaaa’. ‘InnAllaaha
‘Aziizun Gafuur.

Commentary
It is commanded: Like stones, fossils, minerals, vegetations, herbs
and plants etc., among the human beings, moving creatures and grazing livestock
etc. also; individuals of separate colors from one another exist. It is a
natural thing that you observe difference of nature and behavior in different
people. Creation of the world is on such lines that multifarious things, goods
of various colors and the people of different and separate thoughts and
opinions should be found in it. Some people believe in Allaah Almighty
but some deny Him. It is impossible that all mankind should be Believers or entire
human beings may become Disbelievers. Only that mankind will believe in Allaah
Almighty, whose sense will not be overcome by unreasonable desires.
It is an established order that only such people will fear Allaah
Almighty who are intelligent. Unwise people or those whose intelligence and
wisdom have been entangled in worldly matters, neither they believe in Allaah
Almighty and nor care for His displeasure. They are unaware that Allaah
Almighty gives punishment to them who disobey Him. Any disobedient of His
Commandments should never consider that he will commit wicked deeds always
fearlessly like this and will never be asked about his evil works. If he
escaped today, would be caught tomorrow. He shall be punished surely due to his
evil deeds whether he believes in Allaah Almighty or disbelieves. If someone
is given respite; that is for the purpose that perhaps he refrain from wrong
deeds and Allaah Almighty forgive him. Undoubtedly Allaah is Exalted in Might. None can excel Him and there is no
one who may be saved from His seizure. Like this, He is very Forgiving and
Merciful too.
