The Creator has
subjected the sun and the moon
Chapter “FAATIR’” - (The Creator) - 35
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

يُولِجُ ٱلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِن قِطْمِيرٍ 13

13. He maketh the night
to pass into the day and He maketh the day to pass into the night; and He
hath subdued the sun and moon to service; each runneth unto an appointed
term. Such is Allah, your Lord;His is the Sovereignty; and those unto whom ye
pray instead of Him own not so much as the white spot on a date-stone.

13. Yuulijul-layla fin-nahaari
wa yuulijun-nahaara fil-layli,
wa sakh-kharash-shamsa wal-qamar.
Kulluny-yajrii li-‘ajalim-musammaa. Zaaliku-mUllaahu Rabbukum
laHul-Mulk. Walla-ziina tad-‘uuna
min- duuniHii maa
yamlikuuna min- qitmiir.

Commentary
Qitmiir – (membrane), a thin layer wrapped on a
date-seed, which does not have any worth. It is the reason that every valueless
thing is called qitmiir.
It is commanded: Did you ever think that sometime timing of the
day increases but the night decreases, moreover sometime timing of the night
increases but the day decreases, the sun and the moon have been performing
their individual responsibilities properly and regularly without failing? These
provide heat and light when and where required. Who is Manager of this all?
Have you ever think about it?
Behold! Every such work is being performed by the Command of Allaah
Almighty. He has appointed everything to do individual work and the timing for
every work has also been determined by Him. Empire and Sovereignty is in His
Hand. There is none who may disobey His Command. That will happen naturally;
for which He has fixed a particular time. You should understand from the same
that although apparently the infidelity is presently in power but that time
will come very soon when the infidelity will be defeated by Islam. The false
will be ruined and the Truth will win. The things, to which you have been
adoring instead of Allaah Almighty, are owners of nothing, even those do
not possess as much as the membrane of a date
seed. While everything is indigent of Allaah Almighty in all conditions
then why have you been flattering them?
