Full reward of good works

Chapter “FAATIR’” - (The Creator) - 35

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

 (I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ كِتَٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأَنفَقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً يَرْجُونَ تِجَٰرَةً لَّن تَبُورَ  

 29لِيُوَفِّيَهُمْ أُجُورَهُمْ وَيَزِيدَهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُۥ غَفُورٌ شَكُورٌ 30  

                                       

29.  Lo! those who read the Scripture of Allah, and establish Worship, and spend of that which We have bestowed on them secretly and openly, they look forward to imperishable gain- 30.  That He will pay them their wages and increase them of His Grace. Lo! He is Forgiving, Responsive.

29.  ‘Innallaziina  yatluuna  Kitaa-bAllaahi  wa  ‘aqaamus-Salaata  wa  ‘anfaquu  mimmaa  razaqNaahum  sirranw-wa  ‘alaa-niyatany-yarjuuna  Tijaara-tallan-tabuur. 30.  Li-yuwaffi-yahum  ‘ujuura-hum  wa  yaziidahum-min-  FazliH.  ‘InnaHuu  Gafuurun-  Shakuur.

Commentary

It is commanded: The people who knew Us, believed in Us and kept themselves engaged in Our obedience; and continued reciting Our Scripture, that is to say, Holy Qur’an, established prayer regularly according to instructions, and spent from that wealth which We have provided them, sometimes secretly and sometimes publicly, they should be satisfied that reward of their labor and obedience shall be given to them surely. They have been investing their wealth and labor in such trade, where there is a hope of benefit and profit only without thinking about loss or damage.

When Allaah Almighty liked their works; then there would be no other thought save the hope of profit. At last, it will be the result of their efforts and labor that Allaah Almighty will bestow to them full and better retribution of their hardworking. Nothing will be lessened from their remuneration, but He will give them more than enough by His Grace. He can forgive sins, excuse errors and omissions, and bestow more wages on less labor. He makes him rich with favors and honors according to his right who works for His Cause. Allaah Almighty pays more attention towards him who inclines a little unto Him.
