Allah is Acquainted
and Seeing of His servants
Chapter “FAATIR’” - (The Creator) - 35
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

وَٱلَّذِىٓ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِعِبَادِهِۦ لَخَبِيرٌۢ بَصِيرٌ 31 ثُمَّ أَوْرَثْنَا ٱلْكِتَٰبَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱصْطَفَيْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِنَا 32a
|
31. As for that which
We inspire in thee of the Scripture, it is the Truth confirming that which
was (revealed) before it. Lo! Allah is indeed Observer, Seer of His slaves.
32a. Then We gave the
Scripture as inheritance unto those whom We elected of Our bondmen.

31. Wallaziii ‘awhayNaaa
‘ilayka minal-Kitaabi huwal-Haqqu
musaddiqal-limaa bayna ya-dayh.
‘InnAllaaha bi-‘ibaadiHii la-Khabiirum-Basiir.
32a. Summa ‘aw-rasNal-Kitaabal-lazii-nastafayNaa min ‘ibaadiNaa.

Commentary
It is being
assured to Muhammad, the Last Messenger of Allaah (grace, glory,
blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him): The Scripture which We have
revealed to you, is entirely true and correct in all respect. Even it is the
Truth. Now there is no truth in the world save it, but only that which has been
confirmed by this Book (Holy Qur’an) and for which it has given evidence.
Allaah Almighty has assembled all such true matters in this one Scripture
which were described in entire ancient Scriptures (Torah, Psalms and Gospel
etc.) and confirmed that those were true. Moreover besides those things, some
further commandments have been increased in this Holy Book which were suitable
and fit for current circumstances, or old commandments have been amended
according to requirement of present times.
Allaah
Almighty is fully Aware of all circumstances of His slaves and everything is
before His Sight. He commands suitably in accordance with the requirements in
all conditions. Now every necessary Instruction has been recorded in this
Scripture (Holy Qur’an) which will be required to the entire mankind till
the last Day of the world, and the Muslims {the nation of Muhammad (grace,
glory, blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him)} have been appointed collectively
as guardians of this Holy Book and for its looking after.
We have
chosen this nation from Our entire servants (human beings) and appointed them
heirs of this Scripture. It is their duty that they themselves should act upon
its Commandments and spread its Message in the entire world. Title of this
nation is “The Best Nation” and purpose of its establishment is “preaching of
the Commandments of Holy Qur’an practically and by saying”.
