A mighty throne of the Queen

Chapter “Naml”- (The Ant) - 27

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

 (I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

                                                           

إِنِّى وَجَدتُّ ٱمْرَأَةً تَمْلِكُهُمْ وَأُوتِيَتْ مِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَلَهَا عَرْشٌ عَظِيمٌ 23  وَجَدتُّهَا وَقَوْمَهَا يَسْجُدُونَ لِلشَّمْسِ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ فَصَدَّهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ فَهُمْ لَا يَهْتَدُونَ 24  أَلَّا يَسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى يُخْرِجُ ٱلْخَبْءَ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُخْفُونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ 25  ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ 26  

                                       

23.  Lo! I found a woman ruling over them, and she hath been given (abundance) of all things, and hers is a mighty throne. 24.  I found her and her people worshipping the sun instead of Allah; and Satan maketh their works fair-seeming unto them, and debarreth them from the Way (of Truth), so that they go not aright – 25.  Why do they not prostrate before Allah Who bringeth forth what is hidden in the heavens and the earth, and Knoweth what ye hide and what ye proclaim? 26.  Allah, there is no God save Him, the Lord of the Tremendous Throne.

23.  ‘Innii  wajat-tumra-‘atan  tamli-kuhum  wa  ‘uutiyat  min  kulli  shay-‘inw-wa  lahaa  ‘arshun  ‘aziim. 24.  Wajattuhaa  wa  qawma-haa  yasjuduuna  lish-shamsi  min  duuNillaahi  wa  zayyana  lahu-mush-Shaytaanu  ‘a’-maalahum  fasad-dahum  ‘anis-Sabiili  fa-hum  laa  yahtaduun. 25.  ‘Allaa  yasjuduu  Lillaahil-Lazii  Yukhrijul-khab-‘a  fis-samaawaati  wal-‘arzi  wa  Ya’-lamu  maa  tukhfuuna  wa  maa  tu’-linuun. 26.  ‘Allaahu  laaa  ‘ilaaha  ‘illaa  Huwa  Rabbul-‘Arshil-‘Aziim.  (‘As-Sajdah – Bow down)

Commentary

‘Allaa – (why not),

The woodpecker described: A Queen has been ruling there (in Sheba) who has every good thing and has a great throne too. But this Queen and the people of her folk adore to the sun instead of Allaah Almighty. Satan has made their wicked deeds pleasing to them and averted them from the Right Way, because they do not prostrate before Allaah Almighty, Who brings forth what is hidden within the heavens and the earth as water and greenness etc. And He verily knows entire works and secrets of the mankind. Assuredly Allaah Almighty is by Right Rightful. There is no God save Him and He is the Lord of the Grand and the Great Throne.
