Quran Chapter 34: 13 (Pt-22, Stg-5) (L-2637) درس قرآن

Caution for the jinn

Chapter “SABAA’” - (Saba) - 34

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

Allaah Almighty described earlier: We made the iron supple for David (peace be upon him) and instructed to him: Make at first wire of the iron, then prepare rings of it, and then make long coats-of-mail by connecting those rings with one another, but remember it that thickness of the entire wire should with proportion, form and size of the rings should be equal, neither thick and nor thin, neither anyone of them should be bigger and nor smaller.

After that Allaah Almighty mentioned concerning his son and successor, named Solomon (peace be upon them) that He subjected the wind to him. The morning journey of the wind was one month’s distance along with carrying the Throne of Solomon (peace be upon him), as well as it used to return in the afternoon with the same speed.

Moreover, Allaah Almighty caused the spring of copper to gush forth, subdued the jinn for him who were great, hardworking and of mighty form. They used to construct elevated chambers, make wide and big basins of copper. Allaah Almighty said to the group of the jinn: Be cautious! It is Our Command that you should work according to the order of Solomon (peace be upon him), otherwise you will be fuel of the Fire.

Then Allaah Almighty commanded to the family of David (peace be upon him): Take work from powers and things bestowed by Us and be grateful to Our favors. It should not appear from your conduct that you did not appreciate the blessings bestowed by Us and misused the powers and things given by Us.

After that, it is commanded: There are few people among the human beings who disclose their confession of My favors.

We should learn from it that to whom Allaah Almighty has bestowed a thing more than others; he should use it at such places where admission of Allaah’s favor appears. It is obvious that this confession would be visible at that occasion when the possessor of any thing more than others will spend it according to the Commandment of Allaah Almighty in such works which would be advantageous for those people who would be old and feeble more than him, as well as it should be beneficial for him too. For example, if the wealthy person began to deposit his wealth, strong person stopped his strength from helping others, or a skilled person began to spend his skill in making such things by which sins increase, then it would be ingratitude of the blessings of Allaah Almighty.

One will be then thankful when he will spend the blessing bestowed by Allaah Almighty in doing good works for others according to the Commandment of Allaah Almighty.
