(Part Three-Fourth)

Commentary

The wizards, gathered by Pharaoh, have been giving answer of his threat with bravery. Really, in whose mind; the Belief takes place, he does neither fear from any threat and nor care - of any severest punishment. Pharaoh said: I shall punish you. They replied fearlessly: We were at wrong that we used to have faith in you as our lord. Moses (peace be upon him) has manifested before us very clearly by showing clear proofs that indeed the Lord of ours and the Lord of the entire living beings is Allaah Almighty. Now you should do as you will. We shall never disbelieve in Him. Your decision, whatever it would be, it will be limited up to the life of this world. When you died, your all exaltations are finished.

After that, relation of ours and the entire human beings is only with Allaah Almighty. Therefore, we consider that you are nothing. We turn towards Merciful Lord only for forgiveness of those sins which we committed so far; and also which you excited us with force to practise incantations against Moses (peace be upon him). We had already understood after hearing the speech of Moses (peace be upon him) that he is not a wizard. Magic will not be useful against him. Now we are sure that you have no power. Allaah Almighty is the Highest contrary to you and all living beings, and He is Ever-Lasting. You and your magnificence are temporary.
