Commentary

Faith in sincerity of one another and trust in one’s good moral character is necessary in Islamic Society. Its foundation is on chasteness of imaginations and full self-control upon vexing others. It is taught day and night in Islamic brotherhood that the people should escape from unchaste matters and acts, ward off evil deeds and keep fear of Allaah Almighty every time in their hearts. Allaah Almighty is Well Aware of your entire open and hidden matters. Calumny of any other is considered equal to own calumny in Islam. It has been instructed in it that you should have sympathy among yourselves mutually in society and help one another every time. Abstinence and God-fearing are taught with effect from the beginning. In such environments, lack of self reliance can never be born. If any person accuses any other, he should prove it by four reliable witnesses, otherwise he should be quiet. If he will open his tongue without proof then he will be considered a liar in the Sight of Allaah Almighty.

The individuals who have spread a totally false slander concerning the Mother of the Believers {Aaishah (may Allah be pleased with her)}, they should understand it clearly that an awful doom would have overtaken them for that whereof they murmured. However they have been saved due to the Grace of Allaah Almighty and His Mercy unto the Muslims in the world and the Hereafter. Allaah Almighty accepted their repentance who repented of their sins. Some people were purified by giving them punishment of Qazf and the evil spirit people were released after disgracing them.
