Quran Chapter 24: 11 (Pt-18, Stg-4) (L-2204) درس قرآن

Every person will receive what he earns -2

Chapter Nuur” – (Light) - 24

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

Abdullah bin ‘Ubaii, the Chieftain of Hypocrites, used to lie in wait for such occasions. This unlucky person brought out such talk from his mouth, by hearing of which, the hearts trembled. He began to prate absurd and in the whole Madinah city, this story remained openly in circulation. Some people, who were simple, including the Muslims who were unaware of the tricks of hypocrites, were also affected by this. Messenger of Allaah (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) suffered a severe shock. He used to hear rumors, feel troubled in mind and remain silent. After one month, Aaishah (may Allah be pleased with her) came to know that what News had been circulating publicly against her. She was grieved very much and became sick. She used to do nothing but weeping day and night.

At last those unfortunate days were over. Verses were revealed in Holy Qur’an, which begin from the under-reference verse and go to an end in complete two Sections. The Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) was sure that such all rumors were nothing but a lie and slander. It is commanded: Those, who have spread this slander, are such people who say themselves Muslims and count themselves in the group of Muslims. From them, some people have fabricated this rumor, and some more people who are unaware of their trick, have come in their deception. But it is Grace of Allaah Almighty that majority of the Muslims know that they are entirely liars. So they were saved from their tricks.

From this slander, members of the house and true Muslims suffered a great shock, but they should have faith that nothing of them has been spoiled. Moreover, there is betterment in it for them consequently. Fruit of bearing patiently such kind of incident is very nice. The greatest matter is that Evidence of Allaah Almighty Himself concerning chastity and innocence of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and members of his family has been inscribed in the Holy Qur’an for always. Now good mention of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) will be kept up forever by every that person who will recite Holy Qur’an anytime and anywhere. The people who have been involved in this great wrong deed as much, so much they will have to suffer from the disgrace of the world and the doom of the Day of Resurrection. And an awful doom for the chieftain of this slander is ready. In the world too its depravity and malevolence will be proclaimed. This chieftain of the hypocrites was Abdullah bin ‘Ubaii. He will always be called with scornful and hateful names.
