Promise of Hellfire for Infidels
Chapter “YAA-SIIIN” - (YASIN) – 36
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيرًا أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْقِلُونَ 62 هَٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ 63
ٱصْلَوْهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ 64

62. And certainly he
hath led astray of you a great multitude. Had ye then no sense?
63. This is Hell which
ye were promised (if ye followed him).
64. Burn therein this
Day for that ye disbelieved.

62. Wa laqad
‘azalla minkum jibillan-
kasiiraa. ‘Afalam takuunuu
ta’-qiluun.
63. Haazihii Jahannamul-latii kuntum
tuu-‘aduun.
64. ‘Islaw-hal-Yawma bimaa
kuntum takfuruun.

Commentary
Jibillun – (band of the mankind), origin of this
word is jabulu, which means “to create” and it is just like the word “khalqun”.
O Children of Adam! Use common sense; otherwise you will have to
repent on the Day of Resurrection. Do you not understand that what the
Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) has
been saying while you think much concerning the worldly matters?
It is commanded: It will be said to the disbelievers on the Day
of Resurrection: We had sent clear Message for you by means of Our Messengers
(peace be upon them) that you should be cautious from Satan and be not deceived
by him. He has seduced many people before you and led them astray from the
Straight Path. Alas! You lost your wits so much in this matter that your sense
could not work properly. You had been brimful in the dream of negligence as
much that your eyes have been opened Today after reaching before Us. What can be
now while the time of action has been over? It is the Day of Retaliation.
Therefore, you have to go to the Hell in exchange of your disbelief and
idol-worshipping, and suffer due to your wicked deeds of the world. We tried
Our best for causing to understand you but you did never care, turned away from
Our Commandments and became disciples of the Devil. Now enjoy it!
