Serving Lord till the last breath

Surah ‘Al-Hijr - (The Rocky Tract) - 15

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

97.  Well know We that thy bosom is oppressed by what they say-

Commentary

Yaziiqu – (is oppressed), ziiq means narrowness. Ziiqas-Sadr means “being oppressed of the bosom”.

Yaqiin – (in which there is no doubt), such thing is death for the mankind in the world. That will have to die certainly who has born.

It is commanded: The works of Allah Almighty are full of wisdom and planning. There can be some delay also in punishment due to any suitableness. We know that Your heart is pathetic due to their abuses and rudeness, and Your bosom is oppressed due to their mischief. Its treatment is that You should begin to hymn the praise of Allah Almighty. Recite repeatedly “SubhaanAllaahi  wa  biHamdiHii  SubhaanAllaahil-‘Aziim” and be connected with those who fall prostrate before Allah Almighty, and remain engaged in worship of your Lord till the last breath. You should not be careless from His adoration even any moment till death. By acting upon this, the burden; which you feel on your bosom (due to maltreatment of refractory people), will be removed.

Known from it is that remembrance of Allah Almighty every time, prayer, prostration and worship of Merciful Lord are such things, by which the heart is satisfied, and the narrowness in the heart due to cursing and taunting by the people is not born. After that, Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) used to run unto the Prayer during every trouble.
