Qur’aan is a Decisive Utterance in Arabic
Surah Ra-‘d (The Thunder) - 13
‘A-‘uu-zu
Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ حُكْمًا عَرَبِيًّا وَلَئِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَآءَهُم بَعْدَمَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا وَاقٍ 37
|
37. And this have We
revealed it, A Decisive Utterance in Arabic; and if thou shouldst follow
their desires after that which hath come unto thee of knowledge, then truly
wouldst thou have from Allah no protecting friend nor defender.

37. Wa kazaa-lika
‘anzal-Naahu Hukman ‘Ara-biyyaa. Wa
la-‘initta-ba’-ta
‘ahwaaa-‘ahum ba’-da maa
jaaa-‘aka minal-‘ilmi, maa
laka minAllaahi minwwa-liyyinw-wa laa
waaq.

Commentary
In the verse
earlier before this; it was commanded that the people are less in numbers who
are seekers of the Truth and the Just. Every individual sees own interest. Say
to them: I have neither any interest in advantage of someone and nor I am
desirous to harm any person. I invite every individual unto Allah Almighty Who
is One without any partner. And I serve Him only.
It is commanded in
this verse: O Our Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)! It
is the Decision of Holy Qur’aan which has been caused to hear you. For
passing such orders, Holy Qur’aan has been revealed unto you in Arabic
language, and by means of you, unto the entire human beings of the world.
Purpose of sending down it in Arabic language is that your and your nation’s
language is Arabic. You are true and right because you say without partiality
and favor of any one. It is incumbent on you, your nation and those who are
seekers of the truth; to say unhesitatingly that which Truth has been sent down
towards all of you by means of this Holy Qur’aan. Lacking in it will be
cause of destruction. Even if you {O Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and
peace be upon him)!} also will think about their wishes, begin to hide the
Truth by showing them your favor, then neither any person can save you and nor set
you free from the wrath of Allah Almighty.
Known from it is
that God Almighty helps only such people who obey His commandment and they do
not care own as well as others’ wishes.
