‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

Commentary

Allah, The Most High commands that while they care for the world as much that their eyes do not rise up from it, then what will they find in the Hereafter? They can find there nothing but loss. The people of Makkah oppressed the Muslims in the beginning as much that by reading their circumstances one shudders even today. To such extent that some people were killed too, out of which; one was an old man named Yasir and his wife named Sumayyah (May Allah be pleased with them). One day; Abu Jahl tied hands and feet of Yasir (May Allah be pleased with him) with four young camels and drove them. So due to being separate of hands and feet from the body; He (May Allah be pleased with him) fluttered and became a martyr.

Then he (Abu Jahl) stuck his spear into the womb of Sumayyah (May Allah be pleased with her) and she was martyred also. These both persons were first martyrs of Islam. But their son said such word to save his life which was objectionable. Moreover, heartily he (May Allah be pleased with him) was a strong believer. Later on, while he was weeping; he was at the service of God’s Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).

About him (May Allah be pleased with him), this verse was revealed that “denying Islam by tongue to save oneself from deadly misfortunes but having strong belief in the heart, becoming fugitive for the cause of religion and leaving home land, fighting for saving Islam along with other Muslims and standing steadfast on the religion with patience and stability”, after these entire matters, Allah Almighty will forgive your previous slipping and errors, because He is indeed Forgiving and Merciful.
