Allah shall raise up after death

Suratun-Nahl - (The Bee) - 16

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

    وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ لَا يَبْعَثُ ٱللَّهُمَن يَمُوتُ بَلَىٰ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ 38

38.  And they swear by Allah their most binding oaths (that) Allah will not raise up him who dieth. Nay, but it is a promise (binding) upon Him in truth, but most of mankind know not.

38.  Wa  ‘aqsamuu  Billaahi  jah-da  ‘aymaanihim,  laa  yab-‘asUllaahu  many-yamuut.  Balaa  wa’-dan  ‘alay-hi  haqqanw-wa  laakinna  ‘aksa-rannaasi  laa  ya’-lamuun.

      

Commentary

jah-da  ‘aymaanihim – (their most binding oaths), jahd is the effort in which one strives with full strength. ‘Aymaan is plural of yamiin. Yamiin means “oath”. This sentence has passed in Suratul ‘An-‘aam. Juhad means “ordinary toil” and jahad means hard labor.

Sense of maximum people considers that reality of a human being is only “body and its figure”. Such sense which has become slave of bodily wishes; does not go forth from it, and it (the sense) draws a false conclusion from it that “when the body is disfigured and its parts have been scattered, then there is no form of its reproduction”.

In this verse, it is commanded that this faith is false and these people do not know. Allah Almighty has promised to fulfill His binding that urgently He shall reproduce the mankind after death, for which He has to do only that He shall produce body again to the soul. That Allah, Who produces a body to the soul of a human being during his childhood, another body during youth age; and third body during old age, He shall bestow the same kind of body to the soul even after deterioration of this body. The scientists have found by experiments that during every stage of human life its old body is changed with the new step by step.
