Some people were guided by Allah

Suratun-Nahl - (The Bee) - 16

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

  وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِى كُلِّ أُمَّةٍرَّسُولًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ ٱلطَّٰغُوتَ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُ فَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ 36

36a.  And verily We have raised in every nation a messenger, (proclaiming): Serve Allah and shun false gods. Then some of them (there were) whom Allah guided, and some of them (there were) upon whom error had just hold.

36a.  Wa  laqad  ba-‘asNaa  fii  kulli  ‘ummatir-rasuulan  ‘ani’-budUllaaha  wajtanibut-Taa-guut.  Famin-hum-man  hadAllaahu  wa  minhum-man  haqqat  ‘alayhiz-zalaalah.

      

Commentary

Taa-guut – (refractory, rebellious), this word has passed earlier in Suratul-Baqarah and Suratun-Nisaa’. Here it aims “every rebellious; in which every that person is included who considers himself superior to others unjustly; and he does not listen to anyone, as Satan, the people like Pharaoh, Haamaan and tyrants.

It is commanded by Allah Almighty: We sent a Messenger (peace be upon him) in every nation for the purpose that He should cause to know them that they should not adore anyone but Allah Almighty. They should worship Him only and bow not before anyone else save Him. They should not come in the deception of Satan and be saved from all those who walk affectedly being entangled in the Devil’s trap. They mislead others from the Straight Path by putting their bad effect and they consider themselves that “we are the most powerful, great and intelligent. There is no one who may be greater than us. Obey and follow us!”

The Messengers (peace be upon them) cautioned from the stratagems of all of them and informed: They are very dangerous people. You should run away even from their shadows and go not close to them.

But only a few people listened to Them (peace be upon them). Maximum people did not care. Influential effects of depravity had taken place in their hearts and they were entangled in the traps of the Devil and his disciples. Do you also wish to be like those astray people who do not accept that the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) is their Leader; and who do not listen to His Sayings?
