Commentary
Muqar-raniina – (linked together), it is a tense of the Passive Participle from the word
taqriina, which has been derived from qaran. Qaran means
“to be joined with one another”. Taqriina means “to tighten identical
things strongly by linking together”.
Fil-‘as-faad – (in chains), ‘as-faad is plural of safad, it aims –
chains, handcuffs and iron fastened to the legs of criminals.
It is commanded: O
mankind! You should never think that Allah Almighty will not fulfill His
Promises which He made with all of you, care of His Messengers (peace be upon
them). That Day is coming soon when this earth and skies will be finished and
changed with others. At that time, the people will be seen in such condition
that, according to their thoughts, their groups will be separated, which will
be tightened identically strongly by linking them together in chains, handcuffs
and iron fastened to their legs.
