Lesson

It was discussed in the previous lesson that those people who never believe in Allaah Almighty and His messengers (peace be upon them), and likewise those persons who seek to make distinction between Allaah Almighty and His messengers (peace be upon them), that either they believe in Allaah Almighty but do not believe in His messenger (peace be upon them), or believe in some and disbelieve in other messengers (peace be upon them), like this they seek to choose a new way in between that neither they have perfect belief and nor perfect infidelity. These entire people are in the same category i.e. all are openly disbelievers. These will be considered believers at that time when they will believe in Allaah Almighty and His all messengers (peace be upon them) and do not disbelieve even in anyone of them. If they disbelieved in anyone of them, they will become disbelievers. Whether they use to say, “We believe in God and also believe in His messengers (peace be upon them), but they do not believe in the Last Messenger Muhammad Mustafaa (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). Therefore in accordance with the decision of Holy Qur’aan, they cannot be included in the believers.

This claim of the People of the Scripture is useless, “We shall not be punished. Our Messengers (peace be upon them) will save us”. Because That God (Allaah Almighty), Who sent earlier Moses (peace be upon them) and then Jesus Christ (peace be upon them) as Messengers of their times, now at the end of all, He has sent Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) as last Messenger till the Day of Resurrection and bestowed on Him (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) the Last Word i.e. Holy Qur’aan. Those people who will not believe in His Apostleship, about them, it is decision of Holy Qur’aan that believing in Allaah Almighty and His previous Messengers (peace be upon them) only will not be useful for them.
It has been described in this verse that only those persons are rightful to be called believers who believe in Allaah Almighty and His entire Messengers (peace be upon them). For them there are very grand and noble future rewards. The promises which have been mentioned in the Holy Qur’aan for them, those all will be kept. The mercy and forgiveness of Allaah Almighty is ready every time for them. In the Day of Resurrection, complete rest and unlimited comfort will be attainable by them.

It is very clear from this verse that Allaah Almighty has sent His Messengers in every nation and every reign for the guidance of human beings. Every nation is required to believe in the Messenger of her era and all Messengers prior to Him (peace be upon them), it is incumbent and necessary for all nations. Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) is the Messenger for the present time. It is impossible to escape without believing in Him (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).
