The Day when all will return unto the Creator
Chapter “Nuur” – (Light) - 24
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

أَلَآ إِنَّ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ قَدْ يَعْلَمُ مَآ أَنتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَيَوْمَ يُرْجَعُونَ إِلَيْهِ فَيُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۢ 64

64. Lo! verily unto
Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth. He knoweth your
condition. And (He knoweth) the Day when they are returned unto Him so that
He may inform them of what they did. And Allah is Knower of all things.

64. ‘Alaaa ‘inna
Lillaahi maa fis-samaawaati wal-‘arz.
Qad ya’-lamu maaa
‘antum ‘alayh. Wa
yawma yurja-‘uuna ‘ilayhi
fayu-nabbi-‘uhum bimaa ‘amiluu.
Wallaahu bikulli shay-‘in
‘Aliim.

Commentary
The mankind considers ignorantly that whatsoever exists in the
world, is in his possession, or he can lay hold on that thing which he desires by
his power. He thinks that everything is in his control, can make what he wills
and can spoil what he wants. Good thing is only that which he likes. In addition,
some zealous people reflect that they are greatest among all human beings. They
will increase their power by their effort as much that any person will make not
the slightest noise before them. He will defeat all strong people and there
will be no one who may rebel.
The same behavior of the maximum human groups remained during every
ancient era. It is the basic reason of disputes and wars among the people.
It has been proclaimed strongly in this verse: O ignorant
people! Use your sense! Every that thing which is in the earth is of Allaah
Almighty. Besides this, all things in the heavens too, are of Him also. You can
hide your condition from other human beings who are like you, but Allaah
Almighty knows your all conditions. You can never deceive Him. He has given you
respite for some days in the world. But a Day is coming soon when you all will
be present before Him collectively. On that Day, your entire good and evil deeds
will be produced openly before you. If you understood at that time, it would
not be useful for you. Therefore, it would be better if you understand today
that Allaah Almighty is Aware of all conditions of everything, so we
should fear Him.
