Commentary

Yanfadu – (will be finished), origin of this word is nafada, which means “to be finished and to be wasted”.

Baaqin – (that which remains), it is the subject from the word baqaa’, which means “to escape, to remain, not to be finished”. Actually this word is baaqii, which means “remaining”.

It is commanded that while due to greed of temporary benefits, breaking old treaty of alliance and making new articles of agreement with someone else, is treachery and violation of faith, then turning away from the Covenant made with Allah Almighty is a certain proof of the weakness of sense and the last stage of immorality.

Keeping in view the casual advantages of the world, talking such words; by which one infringes the Command of Allah Almighty, he breaks that Covenant which he had made with God Almighty. Assuredly, that which exists with Allah Almighty is better for mankind than this world and its accidental pleasantness of life. If you understand it well then you will never be insensible in such way, that being careless from His commandment; you begin to collect worldly wealth, and do not value those favors and honors which He has prepared for His obedient servants; which will be given to them in the Hereafter.

Bear in mind this clear matter that the entire magnificence of this world will certainly go to an end, but that Favor which is ready with Allah Almighty, will never be finished. Understand it well now!
