Lesson

‘Arsh – (The Empyrean – where the Throne of God is, a roof, the highest sky, the heaven, The Throne), literally, ‘Arsh means “to lift high”. The thing, which is at height, is also called ‘Arsh. It is the reason that this word became famous for the throne of a king. The throne of a king is a sign of his power and sovereignty.

Allah, The Most High is King of the entire Worlds, so His Throne is ‘Arshil-  ‘Aziim (The Tremendous Throne). He has created this Throne with His Omnipotence. We are unable to understand Its complete form and shape. However, we can guess only that as He is The Omnipotent, so His Throne would also be of the highest dignity.

It was described in the previous lesson that the human beings should know perfectly the rank and dignity of the Last Messenger of Allah Almighty (SallAllaahu alayHi wa AaliHii Wasallam) and follow His commandments with pleasure, because which attributes are being searched by the human being, those all exist in Him. He (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) is a perfect role model of the humanity.

Any such person, who is well-wisher, fellow-sufferer and sympathizer of the entire humankind, and who is supporter in every good thing, cannot be found anywhere. Allah Almighty has sent Him (SallAllaahu alayHi wa AaliHii Wasallam) for you with His Mercy, so you should value Him as much as you can. Entire advantage is yours only in His obedience.

Allah Almighty commanded: O Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him)! Notwithstanding all good habits, if the people do not draw their attention unto You and turn away, there is nothing harmful for You from their such behavior. Allah is Your Protecting Friend and Supporter. The people should understand that pity and mercy of the Messenger (SallAllaahu alayHi wa AaliHii Wasallam) for them is useful only for them.

Therefore, O Messenger (SallAllaahu alayHi wa AaliHii Wasallam)! You should say in Your heart! Support of Allah Almighty is sufficient for Me. My Protecting Friend and Supporter is He only. I have put my full trust in Him. He is Owner and King of the entire Worlds and Master of the Throne of Sovereignty of the entire world also. Everything is in his Omnipotence.

This commandment teaches us that we should be ready for the help of others at the time of their necessity. But personally, neither we should seek help from any other save Allah Almighty; and nor disclose our personal indigence before any other. This is the lesson, if the mankind learnt it; all depravities of the world would be removed.

This verse is biggest support and lesson for the human being. Its subject is a medicine to cure every disease of human’s weakness.
