Lessons From The Quran
‘Surah Muhammad’

Today, we are facing the problem of sectarianism. Almost a hundred sects (or group) are advocating (promoting) their brand of Islam and blatantly declaring the other sects as ‘non-Muslim’ or ‘Kaafir’. And their claims are based on ‘opinions’ of their favorite scholars; and their own interpretations. They are not 100% based on the Quran or the commands of Allah. There are many people who have political or financial motives, don’t have enough religious knowledge, but they have formed religious groups and are spreading ignorance in the name of religion. They are fooling simple Muslims who are not very well educated about Islam. They often quote fake, fabricated, weak or disputed Ahadith to support their claims. They cannot support their claims or arguments with verses from the Quran which is the main source of Islamic knowledge. The Islam which Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) preached and practiced, was totally based on the Quran – the Word of God.

Allah gives us lessons in every chapter (or Surah) of the Quran and they are easy to understand. It’s only the so-called ‘scholars’ who make them complicated with their own interpretations and confused explanations (Tafseer). Unfortunately, this is one of the many signs of the End Time. Here’s what Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) said about it:

 Religious Ignorance:

Vol. 1, Book 3, No. 81
Narrated by Anas:
Allah's Apostle said, "From among the portents of the Hour are (the following):
1. Religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of Religious learned men).
2. (Religious) ignorance will prevail.
3. Use of Alcoholic drinks (will be very common).
4. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual activities.

Vol. 1, Book 3, No. 82
Narrated by Ibn Umar:
I will narrate to you a Hadith and none other than I will tell you about it. I heard Allah’s Apostle saying: From among the portents of the Hour are (the following):
1. Religious knowledge will decrease (by the death of religious learned men).
2. Religious ignorance will prevail.
3. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual relationship.
4. Women will increase in number and men will decrease in number so much so that fifty women would be served by one man.

All the above signs (portents) are very visible in the entire world these days. We are passing through the End Time approaching the Hour.

The Quran is called ‘Kalaam-u-Allah’ – the Word of God or ‘Allah’s Talk’. Did we ever ponder over it as to whom this Word or Talk is addressed to? Allah is not talking to Himself; He is talking to us – the mankind. As His creation, we are obligated not only to listen to Him but Obey His commands too. In the Holy Quran, Allah tells us what to do and what not to do; how to achieve success and avoid disaster; how to reap rewards and escape the Hellfire; and how to handle this world in preparation for the Hereafter. In other words, how to keep the balance on the Straight Path.

The finest example to be followed in this regard, is the example of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) who showed mankind how to please the Creator without hurting others and without violating the rights of fellow human beings, and our subjects. The life of the Prophet was simple but the perfect model of living by the Book. Allah, the Almighty, was very pleased with him and commanded us to obey/follow the Prophet.

Allah completed the Faith of Islam (our Deen) during the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad when He revealed to him a verse of the Quran during Hajj: “This day I have perfected your religion for you and completed My favor upon you …” (Surah al-Maidah, Verse 3). Now, when Allah says that He has perfected and completed it, who are we (or any so-called scholar) to add or delete or change or edit it or interpret it differently? This Deen (Islam) was fine during the periods of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.), Abu Bakr (r.a.a.), Umar (r.a.a.), Uthman (r.a.a.) and Ali (r.a.a.) and even many years after. Just like people started adding things to religion 300 years after the death of Jesus (Issa), they started doing the same to Islam many years after the death of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.). They did it with the help of fabricated Ahadith.

Umar bin al-Khattab (r.a.a.) narrated:
Once a Jew said to me: ‘O the chief of believers! There is a verse in your Holy Book which is read by all of you (Muslims), and had it been revealed to us, we would have taken that day (on which it was revealed) as a day of celebration’.
Umar bin al-Khattab (r.a.a.) asked: ‘Which verse is that?’
The Jew answered: “This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you. And have chosen for you Islam as your religion (Deen) – al-Quran 5:3.
Umar (r.a.a.) replied: ‘No doubt, we know when and where this verse was revealed to the Prophet (s.a.w.). It was Friday and the Prophet was standing at Arafat (the Day of Hajj).’

Islam is a very simple Deen. Anyone who surrenders or submits himself/herself to the will of Allah, is a Muslim. In other words, Islam means obedience to Allah. And how do we achieve that? By simply following the commands of Allah and copying the lifestyle and actions of the Prophet (s.a.w.). If you study the Quran again and again, everything becomes clearer and clearer. You don’t need a middle-man (a religious broker) to guide you. Allah has promised all guidance in the Quran. And nobody else can guide you better than Allah Himself.


What Is Deen (Islam)?

Narrated by Abu Huraira:
One day while the Prophet was sitting in the company of some people, a man came and asked, "What is Faith (Imaan)?"
Allah's Apostle replied, “Faith is to believe in Allah, His angels, (the) meeting with Him, His Apostles, and to believe in Resurrection."
Then he further asked, "What is Islam?"
Allah's Apostle replied, "To worship Allah Alone and none else, to offer prayers perfectly to pay the compulsory charity (Zakat) and to observe fasts during the month of Ramadan."
Then he further asked, "What is Ihsan (perfection)?"
Allah's Apostle replied, "To worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you."
Then he further asked, "When will the Hour be established?"
Allah's Apostle replied, "The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its portents:
1. When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master.
2. When the shepherds of black camels start boasting and competing with others in the construction of higher/taller buildings.
And the Hour is one of five things which nobody knows except Allah. The Prophet then recited: "Verily, with Allah (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour." (al-Quran 31:34). After that, the man left and the Prophet (s.a.w.) asked his companions to call him back, but they could not see him.
Then the Prophet said, "That was Gabriel who came to teach the people their religion." Abu Abdullah said: He (the Prophet) considered all that as a part of Faith (Imaan).

And that is Islam as verified by Gabriel!

Guidance:
Narrated by Abu Musa:
The Prophet said, "The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is like abundant rain falling on the earth, some of which was fertile soil that absorbed rain water and brought forth vegetation and grass in abundance. (And) another portion of it was hard and held the rain water and Allah benefited the people with it and they utilized it for drinking, making their animals drink from it and for irrigation of the land for cultivation. (And) a portion of it was barren which could neither hold the water nor bring forth vegetation (then that land gave no benefits). The first is the example of the person who comprehends Allah's religion and gets benefit (from the knowledge) which Allah has revealed through me (the Prophets and learns and then teaches others. The last example is that of a person who does not care for it and does not take Allah's guidance revealed through me (He is like that barren land)."

And Now, the Surah Muhammad:

Don’t Reject Allah!
Make Your Deeds Count, Don’t Waste Them!

ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَضَلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ
“Those who reject Allah (by disbelieving) and
hinder (people) from the Path of Allah, Allah
will render their deeds vain.”
(al-Quran 47:1)

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَتَعْساً لَّهُمْ وَأَضَلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ
“But those who reject (Allah), for them is
destruction; and (Allah) will render
their deeds vain.”
(al-Quran 47:8)

ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَرِهُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالَهُمْ
“That is because they hate the Revelation of
Allah, so He has made their deeds fruitless.”
(al-Quran 47:9)

But On The Other Hand:

وَٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّالِحَاتِ وَآمَنُواْ بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ
وَهُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ كَفَّرَ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَأَصْلَحَ بَالَهُمْ
“But those who believe and work deeds of
righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent
down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their
Lord - He will remove from them their ills
and improve their condition.”
(al-Quran 47:2)

Distinguish Truth From Falsehood,
Guidance From Ignorance,
And Right From Wrong !

ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلْبَاطِلَ وَأَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ
ٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلْحَقَّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ كَذٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ ٱللَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ أَمْثَالَهُمْ
“This because those who reject Allah follow
vanities, while those who believe follow the
Truth from their Lord. Thus does Allah set
forth for men their lessons by similitudes.”
(al-Quran 47:3)

The Faith (or Imaan):
“La ilaha illa-Allah”
Narrated by Anas:
‘The Prophet (s.a.w.) said, “Whoever said: “La ilaha illa-Allah” – (‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’), and has in his heart good (faith or Imaan) equal to the weight of a barley grain, will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, and has in his heart good (faith or Imaan) equal to the weight of a wheat grain, will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah’, and has in his heart good (faith or Imaan) equal to the weight of an atom, will be taken out of Hell.”

"And We have sent down to you the Book explaining all things,
a Guide, a Mercy, and Glad Tidings to Muslims".
If You Believe In Allah,
He’ll Be Your Protector:

يٰأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُوۤاْ إِن تَنصُرُواْ ٱللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ
“O you who believe! If you will aid (the cause of)
Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly.”
(al-Quran 47:7)

ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَوْلَى ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَأَنَّ ٱلْكَافِرِينَ لاَ مَوْلَىٰ لَهُمْ
“That is because Allah is the Protector of those
who believe, but those who reject Allah
(they) have no protector.”
(al-Quran 47:11)

Destruction Is The Fate of Evil-doers.
Learn From History!

أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُواْ فِى ٱلأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ
عَاقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ دَمَّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ أَمْثَالُهَا
“Do they not travel through the earth, and see what
was the End of those before them (who did evil)?
Allah brought utter destruction on them, and
similar (fates) await those who reject Allah.”
(al-Quran 47:10)

ذٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَوْلَى ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَأَنَّ ٱلْكَافِرِينَ لاَ مَوْلَىٰ لَهُمْ
“That is because Allah is the Protector of those who
believe, but those who reject Allah have no protector.”
(al-Quran 47:11)

Don’t You Understand The Quran?
Help Mankind And Don’t Spread Mischief!

فَهَلْ عَسَيْتُمْ إِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ أَن تُفْسِدُواْ فِى ٱلأَرْضِ وَتُقَطِّعُوۤاْ أَرْحَامَكُمْ
“Then, is it to be expected of you, if you were put
in authority, that you will do mischief in the land,
and break your ties of kith and kin?”
(al-Quran 47:22)

أَوْلَـٰئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَأَصَمَّهُمْ وَأَعْمَىٰ أَبْصَارَهُمْ
“Such are the men whom Allah has cursed for
He has made them deaf and blinded their sight.”
(al-Quran 47:23)

أَفَلاَ يَتَدَبَّرُونَ ٱلْقُرْآنَ أَمْ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبٍ أَقْفَالُهَآ
“Do they not then earnestly seek to understand
the Quran, or are their hearts locked up by them?”
(al-Quran 47:24)

Persevere Patiently And Trust God!
You Are Being Tested.
Thank God In Every Situation!

يٰقَوْمَنَآ أَجِيبُواْ دَاعِىَ ٱللَّهِ وَآمِنُواْ بِهِ يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ
مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُجِرْكُمْ مِّنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
“And We shall try you until We test those
among you who strive their utmost and persevere
in patience; and We shall try your true qualities.”
(al-Quran 47:31)

وَٱلَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَلَن يُضِلَّ أَعْمَالَهُمْ
“But those who are slain in the Way of Allah,
He will never let their deeds be lost.”
(al-Quran 47:4)

وَيُدْخِلُهُمُ ٱلْجَنَّةَ عَرَّفَهَا لَهُمْ
“And admit them to the Garden which He
has announced for them.”
(al-Quran 47:6)

Rejecting Allah Is Like Rejecting Forgiveness.
Better Die As Believers (Muslims):

يٰأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُوۤاْ أَطِيعُواْ اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُواْ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَلاَ تُبْطِلُوۤاْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ
“O you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the
messenger, and make not vain your deeds!”
(al-Quran 47:33)

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ وَصَدُّواْ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ مَاتُواْ
وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ
“Those who reject Allah, and hinder (people)
from the Path of Allah, then die rejecting Allah,
Allah will not forgive them.”
(al-Quran 47:34)

Obey Him, Not The Devil!

ٱتَّبِعُواْ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَآءَ قَلِيلاً مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ
وَكَم مِّن قَرْيَةٍ أَهْلَكْنَاهَا فَجَآءَهَا بَأْسُنَا بَيَاتاً أَوْ هُمْ قَآئِلُونَ
فَمَا كَانَ دَعْوَاهُمْ إِذْ جَآءَهُمْ بَأْسُنَآ إِلاَّ أَن قَالُوۤاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ
“Follow (O men!) the revelation given unto you from
your Lord, and follow not, as friends or protectors, other
than Him. Little it is you remember of admonition.”
(al-Quran 7:3-5)

أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يٰبَنِيۤ آدَمَ أَن لاَّ تَعْبُدُواْ ٱلشَّيطَانَ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
وَأَنِ ٱعْبُدُونِى هَـٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنْكُمْ جِبِلاًّ كَثِيراً أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُواْ تَعْقِلُونَ
"Did I not enjoin on you, O you Children of Adam, that
you should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an
enemy avowed? And that you should worship Me, (for
that) this was the straight way? But he did lead astray
a great multitude of you. Did you not, then, understand?”
(al-Quran 36:60-62)

Is this message not clear enough for you? What is in this command of the Almighty that we don’t understand? Is there anything ambiguous or confusing? No, certainly not. It is a command in a very plain language. No confusion at all! The message is loud and clear – follow the commands of your Creator (not the Devil’s) and reflect upon them.
           
هَـٰذَا بَلاَغٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَلِيُنذَرُواْ بِهِ وَلِيَعْلَمُوۤاْ أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ
وَلِيَذَّكَّرَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلأَلْبَابِ
“This is a clear message for mankind in order that they
may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is
only One God, and that men of understanding may take heed.”
(al-Quran 14:52)

هَـٰذَا بَيَانٌ لِّلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةٌ لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
“This (Quran) is a declaration for mankind, a guidance
and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil).”
(al-Quran 3:138)

The Holy Quran is the Word of God (Allah) and that means that Allah is talking to you (through its verses). There is a message in it. Allah is not talking to Himself; HE is talking to us – the mankind! But do we understand what Allah says and commands us to do to benefit from His mercy and blessings?

كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوۤاْ آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُو ٱلأَلْبَابِ
“(This is) a Scripture that We have Revealed unto you,
full of blessing that they may ponder its revelations,
and that men of understanding may reflect.”
(al-Quran 38:29)

Allah invites us to think and reflect upon His revelations; meditate on them; study the Holy Quran; follow the instructions and apply them to our daily life.
Majority of the Muslims in this world are not Arabs. They don’t speak/understand Arabic and the Quran is revealed in Arabic language. Therefore, their only alternative (solution) is to follow it through translation in their native language. That takes care of the problem up to the maximum of 90%. The remaining 10% can always play mischief. In this space of 10%, there are misinterpretations, wrong translations, wrong sense of the words, use of misappropriate words, misunderstanding idiomatic phrases, choosing the multi-meaning words that create misunderstanding, misleading phrases, etc., etc.
How to overcome this serious problem? The only solution is to learn Arabic language – at least the basic knowledge so that you can recognize the original Arabic word and compare its translations. That will remove all chances of doubtful translation and misinterpretation. You don’t need to be a master of Arabic to achieve that goal. But if you become a ‘master’ in the process, it’ll be great!
The second Caliph of Islam, Umar bin al-Khattab (r.a.a.= razi Allah anh) said: “Learn Arabic! It is part of your Faith (Iman).” And very rightly so! Allah says:

إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْآناً عَرَبِيّاً لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ
“We have made it a Quran in Arabic, that you may
be able to understand (and learn wisdom).”
(al-Quran 43:3)

وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْآناً أعْجَمِيّاً لَّقَالُواْ لَوْلاَ فُصِّلَتْ آيَاتُهُ ءَاعْجَمِيٌّ وَعَرَبِيٌّ
قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ هُدًى وَشِفَآءٌ وَٱلَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ فِيۤ آذَانِهِمْ
وَقْرٌ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَمًى أُوْلَـٰئِكَ يُنَادَوْنَ مِن مَّكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ
“Had We sent this as a Quran (in the language) other
than Arabic, they would have said: "Why are not its
verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic
and (a Messenger) an Arab?" Say: "It is a Guide and a
Healing to those who believe; and for those who
believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is
blindness in their (eyes). They are (as it were) being
called from a place far distant!"
(al-Quran 41:44)

وَكَذٰلِكَ أَنزَلْنَاهُ قُرْآناً عَرَبِيّاً وَصَرَّفْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلْوَعِيدِ
لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ أَوْ يُحْدِثُ لَهُمْ ذِكْراً
“Thus have We sent this down - an Arabic Quran - and
explained therein in detail some of the warnings, in order
that they may fear Allah, or that it may cause
their remembrance (of Him).”
(al-Quran 20:113)

It was God’s decision to reveal the Quran in Arabic, therefore, we don’t need to look for justification or reasons behind it. It would be a lengthy ‘academic’ discussion. I leave it to those so-called ‘scholars’ (‘ulema’) who have nothing else to do. What is important for me is that Allah sent this message for us and we should implement it – ponder over it, reflect upon it and act upon it. Allah says that He made the Quran easy for us:

فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
“Verily, We have made this (Qur'an) easy, in your
tongue, in order that they may give heed.”
(al-Quran 44:58)

Allah knows that we are ignorant, arrogant, stubborn and wicked. We always look for excuses to get away without taking any responsibility. And if we do take responsibility, we look for short-cuts (compromising the wisdom of the message). Generally, we are very ungrateful to our Creator and Beneficent. But Allah reminds us on every occasion that we should remember Him:

وَلَقَدْ مَكَّنَّاكُمْ فِى ٱلأَرْضِ وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ قَلِيلاً مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَاكُمْ ثُمَّ صَوَّرْنَاكُمْ ثُمَّ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلاۤئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُواْ لِـآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوۤاْ
“It is We Who have placed you with authority on earth,
and provided you therein with means for the
fulfillment of your life. Small are the thanks
that you give! It is We Who created you
and gave you shape; then We bade the angels
prostrate to Adam, and they prostrate. …”
(al-Quran 7:10-11).

The revelations are clearly explained in the Holy Quran. If we say that we don’t understand them, that would be a lame excuse. Everybody understands them but, somehow, tries to ignore them or avoid them. We, as Muslims, don’t have the courage to say that we don’t want to obey the commands of Allah. We always say that we believe them to be true but still we don’t follow them. This is simple disobedience. At the same time, it amounts to rejection of God’s message. On top of it, we don’t even thank Allah for all the blessings we still enjoy. Allah is not happy with this attitude:

إِن تَكْفُرُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنكُمْ وَلاَ يَرْضَىٰ لِعِبَادِهِ ٱلْكُفْرَ
وَإِن تَشْكُرُواْ يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ وَلاَ تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ
مَّرْجِعُكُـمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُـمْ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
If you reject (Allah), Truly Allah has no need of you;
but He likes not ingratitude from His servants. If you are
grateful, He is pleased with you. No bearer of burdens
can bear the burden of another. In the end, to your Lord
is your return, when He will tell you the truth of all
that you did (in this life); for He knows well
all that is in (men's) hearts.”
(al-Quran 39:7)

We are very cunning and conniving. We ignore the Almighty in almost everything we do to enjoy a comfortable and happy life on this earth. We don’t like discipline, rules and regulations. We want to be ‘free’ of every obligation. In this process we don’t even notice that we are being unjust to ourselves as well as others. Allah commands us:

قُلْ أَمَرَرَبِّى بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَأَقِيمُواْ وُجُوهَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ
وَٱدْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُودُونَ
“Say: ‘My Lord has commanded justice; and that you set
your whole selves (to Him) at every time and place of prayer,
and call upon Him, making your devotion sincere as 
in His sight; such as He created you in the beginning, 
so shall you return." (al-Quran 7:29)

Allah tells us to be honest in our dealings and treatment to others. We should do what we say; and we should portray what we really are. Hiding the truth and pretending to promote the truth, while in fact we are promoting the falsehood/lies, is strictly forbidden. Those who do that, would be punished. We cannot escape from the wrath of Allah if we do evil and spread (or help to spread) corruption:

أَن لَّعْنَةُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلظَّالِمِينَ
“The curse of Allah is on evil-doers.”
(al-Quran 7:44)

يٰأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لاَ تَفْعَلُونَ
كَبُرَ مَقْتاً عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُواْ مَا لاَ تَفْعَلُونَ
“O you who believe! Why SAY you that which you DO not? 
It is most hateful in the sight of Allah that
you SAY that (something) which you DO not.”
(al-Quran 61:2-3)

The message of God is universal. It is very simple, clear and binding on all of us. It can be summed up in two words: Obey Me! This is the message of the Greatest Creator to the entire Creation, from the beginning till the end. In Arabic language this message is called ‘Islam’. It was the same message delivered by all other messengers or prophets of God in other languages. Islam means unconditional surrender or submission to the Will of God (or Allah). Those who do, they are called ‘Muslims’. Islam is not in the name; it is in the actions. If we believe in Allah, we should show it in every way.

If someone tells you that ‘everybody believes in God but you Muslims do it differently’. Tell him/her that you don’t do it differently than the followers of other prophets or messengers of God. We do it the way it should be done. Allah tells us:

وَمِن قَبْلِهِ كِتَابُ مُوسَىٰ إِمَاماً وَرَحْمَةً وَهَـٰذَا كِتَابٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ
لِّسَاناً عَرَبِيّاً لِّيُنذِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُحْسِنِينَ
“And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a
mercy. And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to
admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.”
(al-Quran 46:12)

This means that we are not different as followers of God’s message than the followers of Prophet Moses. Allah even tells us that it was the same message/religion that was followed by the people during the times of Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and his tribes, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets/messengers of God.

قُولُوۤاْ آمَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ
 وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلأَسْبَاطِ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَمَا أُوتِىَ ٱلنَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ
لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ
“Say: We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us,
and to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and
that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets
from their Lord; we make no difference between one and
another of them. And we bow to Allah in Islam.”
(Quran 2:136)

We are not different from those nations. Only the account of their submission, devotion, prayers and beliefs are not correctly recorded by the ‘men’ who wanted to be different. These false records/narrations created different religions, sects and promoted disunity that resulted in animosity among different groups. The message, as delivered by the prophets or messengers of God, was very clear and was based on truth. But those who did not want to follow it honestly and sincerely, they corrupted it, edited it, changed it and then manipulated it. Allah says:

فَلَنَسْأَلَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلَنَسْأَلَنَّ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
“Then shall we question those to whom Our message
was sent and those by whom We sent it.”
(al-Quran 7:6)

That means that Allah, on the Day of Judgment, will question those prophets and messengers about their deliverance of His message in front of their nations. And then Allah will also question us (and all other nations) whether we received His message or not; and if we did (we surely did), what did we do about it? How did we treat it and how did we implement it?

يُولِجُ ٱلْلَّيْلَ فِى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِى ٱلْلَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ
كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ذٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ
وَٱلَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ مَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِن قِطْمِيرٍ
“He merges night into day, and he merges day into night,
and he has subjected the sun and the moon (to His Law);
each one runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allah
your Lord; to Him belongs all dominion. And those whom
you invoke besides Him have not the least power.”
(al-Quran 35:13)

God, the Almighty, has revealed to us His signs and, through His messengers and Scriptures, has explained to us how He created us, this universe and everything in it. If we, as believers, are not honest or sincere, we’ll question those signs and try to rationalize them. You are either a believer or unbeliever. There is no middle ground. A believer should see His signs and believe! Simple as that!

تِلْكَ آيَاتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ وَآيَاتِهِ يُؤْمِنُونَ
وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ يَسْمَعُ آيَاتِ ٱللَّهِ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ
ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِراً كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
“Such are the Signs of Allah, which We recite to you
in Truth; then in what exposition will they believe after
(rejecting) Allah and His Signs? Woe to each sinful dealer
in Falsehoods. He hears the Signs of Allah recited to him,
yet is obstinate and lofty, as if he had not heard them.
Then announce to him a penalty grievous!”
(al-Quran 45:6-8)

هَـٰذَا بَصَائِرُ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّقَوْمٍ يُوقِنُونَ
“These are clear evidences to men and a Guidance
and Mercy to those of assured Faith.”
(al-Quran 45:20)

وَيَوْمَ يُعْرَضُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ عَلَىٰ ٱلنَّارِ أَلَيْسَ هَـٰذَا بِٱلْحَقِّ
قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّنَا قَالَ فَذُوقُواْ ٱلْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
“And on the Day that the unbelievers will be placed
before the Fire, (they will be asked,) "Is this not the Truth?"
They will say: "Yes, by our Lord!" (One will say:) "Then
taste you the penalty because you disbelieved (Truth)!"
(al-Quran 46:34)

Allah has explained to us that He created this universe (heavens and earth and everything between them) in truth and with a purpose. Our lives here on this earth are part of a trial. It is not a sport, nor a past-time. We need to qualify for the next life (heaven or hell) right here during a fixed period of time (our lifespan). We need to remember (worship) and obey our Lord, the Greatest Creator, and take care of fellow human beings. We need to live our lives the way He told us to. If we fail this test, we are doomed. He warns us in the Holy Quran:
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَاطِلاً
ذٰلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ
“Not without purpose did We create heaven and earth, and
all what is between them! That is the opinion of unbelievers!
But woe to the unbelievers because of the Fire (of Hell)!”
(al-Quran 38:27)

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لاَعِبِينَ
مَا خَلَقْنَاهُمَآ إِلاَّ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ
“We created not the heavens, the earth, and all that is
between them, merely in (idle) play. We created 
them not except for just ends (truth), but most 
of them do not understand.” (al-Quran 44:38-39)

Allah tells us to be mindful of His blessings and mercy upon us; even upon those who don’t believe in God! He gives them provision, sustenance, air to breathe, water to drink and food to eat. He is not sending us any ‘bill’ for that to pay. We should not take things for granted. He makes us feel at every step of life that He is there, and should be appreciated. How can we then deny Him?

يٰأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ هَلْ مِنْ خَالِقٍ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ
يَرْزُقُكُمْ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلأَرْضِ لاَ إِلَـٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ
“O men! Call to mind the grace of Allah unto you!
Is there a creator, other than Allah, to give you
sustenance from heaven or earth? There is no god but 
Him. How then are you deluded away from the Truth?”
(al-Quran 35:3)

As Creation, we need the Creator to survive. We are so helpless and dependent that we cannot survive on our own. We depend on Allah but Allah is Independent. We need Allah but Allah does not need us, or in fact anybody. He is above that. And if He wanted, He could wipe us out any time. He does not owe us anything but we owe Him everything. Does that put us in our place?

يٰأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ أَنتُمُ ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلْغَنِىُّ ٱلْحَمِيدُ
إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُـمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ
وَمَا ذٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ
“O you men! It is you that have need of Allah; but Allah
is the One free of all wants, worthy of all praise. If He so
pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a new creation.
And that is not (at all) difficult for Allah.”
(al-Quran 35:15-17)

وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلاَ صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ
“If it were Our Will, We could drown them, then
would there be no helper (to hear their cry),
nor could they be delivered.”
(al-Quran 36:43)

We cannot deny the favors and blessings of Allah. On this earth, we owe everything to Him. He is the sole Provider. When He warns the disobedient of His punishment, they say it is ‘cruel’. No, it is not. Allah does not want any cruelty for His slaves. He just reminds us of His mercy and blessings so that we recognize Him, appreciate Him, don’t disobey Him, worship Him and always remember Him.

وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَىٰ أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَٱسْتَبَقُواْ ٱلصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّىٰ يُبْصِرُونَ
وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَمَسَخْنَاهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَكَـانَتِهِمْ فَمَا ٱسْتَطَاعُواْ مُضِيّاً وَلاَ يَرْجِعُونَ
وَمَن نّعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّـسْهُ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ أَفَلاَ يَعْقِلُونَ
“If it had been our Will, We could surely have blotted out
their eyes; then should they have run about groping for the
path, but how could they have seen? And if it had been
Our Will, We could have transformed them (to remain) in
their places; then should they have been unable to move
about, nor could they have returned (after error). If We grant
long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature.
Will they not then understand?”
(al-Quran 36:66-68)

If we travel in the world, we’ll see the ruins of ancient empires, signs of destruction of the old/earlier kingdoms and towns. These are the signs that have a message for us. The people, more powerful, stronger and more advanced than us, were destroyed when they turned to evil-living; when they revolted and went astray. But most of the times, the Merciful Allah forgives us, giving us time to repent and revert to the right path.

أَوَلَمْ يَسِيرُواْ فِى ٱلأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ
وَكَانُوۤاْ أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً وَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعْجِزَهُ مِن شَيْءٍ
فِى ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَلاَ فِى ٱلأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَلِيماً قَدِيراً
وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِمَا كَسَبُواْ مَا تَرَكَ عَلَىٰ ظَهْرِهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍ وَلَـٰكِن
يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ بَصِيراً
“Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was
the end of those before them, though they were superior
to them in strength? Nor is Allah to be frustrated by
anything whatever in the heavens or on earth, for He is
All-Knowing. All-Powerful. If Allah were to punish men
according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the
back of the (earth) a single living creature. But He gives
them respite for a stated term; when their term expires,
verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants.”
(al-Quran 35:44-45)

ثُمَّ دَمَّرْنَا ٱلآخَرِينَ وَإِنَّكُمْ لَّتَمُرُّونَ عَلَيْهِمْ مُّصْبِحِينَ
وَبِٱلْلَّيْلِ أَفَلاَ تَعْقِلُونَ
“Then We destroyed the rest. Verily, you pass by their
(sites), by day and by night; will you not understand?”
(al-Quran 37:136-138)


We see those signs and ruins when we go visiting places, promoting tourism, but do we think beyond that? Do we read the message written on those ruins of ancient empires? It does not challenge our intellect. On the contrary, it is simple and easy to understand. Read the history of mankind and reflect upon it! Then read the above verses of the Quran and see what Allah is talking about!

The earlier nations denied the Sings/Revelations of Allah; disputed, insulted and some times even killed the messengers of God; rejected the Divine Message; and chose the evil ways. God sent to them the warning signs, gave them enough time to repent and revert, and finally punished them. In our time, we are avoiding, ignoring and even disputing God’s message. We are accepting and promoting atheism/secularism. We even give a blind eye to the warning signs (fires, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, droughts, virus-plagues and other natural disasters). Now, the question is: Are we waiting for the big blast?

كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍ وَعَادٌ وفِرْعَوْنُ ذُو ٱلأَوْتَادِ
وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ وَأَصْحَابُ الأَيْكَةِ أُوْلَـٰئِكَ ٱلأَحْزَابُ
إِن كُلٌّ إِلاَّ كَذَّبَ ٱلرٌّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ
وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَـٰؤُلآءِ إِلاَّ صَيْحَةً واحِدَةً مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍ
“Before them (were many who) rejected messengers – the
people of Noah, and Aad, and Pharaoh, the Lord of Stakes,
and Thamud, and the people of Lot, and the Companions
of the Wood – such were the confederates. Not one (of them)
but rejected the messengers, but My punishment came justly
and inevitably (on them). These (today) only wait for a single
mighty Blast, which (when it comes) will brook no delay.”
(al-Quran 38:12-15)

Allah tells us in many verses of the Holy Quran that life of this world is temporary and is a test for all of us. The real life is in the Hereafter. We should strive for that life during our tenure on this earth by remembering our Creator and by not following the Satan. Satan’s influence can land us in Hell.

يٰأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ فَلاَ تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ ٱلْحَيَاةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَلاَ يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْغَرُورُ
إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَانَ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوّاً إِنَّمَا يَدْعُو حِزْبَهُ لِيَكُونُواْ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ وَٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّالِحَاتِ
لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ
“O men! Certainly the promise of Allah is true. Let not
then this present life deceive you, nor let the Chief Deceiver
deceive you about Allah. Verily Satan is an enemy to you,
so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his adherents,
that they may become companions of the Blazing Fire.
For those who reject Allah, is a terrible penalty; but for
those who believe and work righteous deeds,
is forgiveness, and a magnificent reward.”
(al-Quran 35:5-7)

Allah has used the term ‘Chief Deceiver’ for Satan because he always deceives men and betrays them. He is out there to prove that we are not worthy of Paradise. It is up to us now to prove it otherwise, and please our Lord at the same time.

قُلْ يٰعِبَادِ ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ رَبَّكُمْ لِلَّذِينَ أَحْسَنُواْ فِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنْيَا
حَسَنَةٌ وَأَرْضُ ٱللَّهِ وَاسِعَةٌ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى ٱلصَّابِرُونَ أَجْرَهُمْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
“Say: O you my servants who believe! Fear your Lord,
good is (the reward) for those who do good in this world!
Spacious is Allah's earth! Those who patiently persevere
will truly receive a reward without measure!"
(al-Quran 39:10)

And here is the last warning from our Lord, to Whom belongs everything in the heavens and on earth. This is not only a command but also an excellent piece of advice to all human beings. We better pay attention to it!

وَٱتَّبِعُـوۤاْ أَحْسَنَ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُـمْ مِّن قَبْلِ
أَن يَأْتِيَكُـمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ بَغْتَةً وَأَنتُمْ لاَ تَشْعُرُونَ
"And follow the best of (the courses) revealed to you
from your Lord, before the penalty comes on you
suddenly while you perceive not!”
(al-Quran 39:55)

And what is that “best of courses” that has been revealed to us? It’s the Holy Quran, of course – a Book without a doubt! So, pay attention!

كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوۤاْ آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُو ٱلأَلْبَابِ
“Here is a Book which We have sent down unto you,
full of blessings, that they may ponder over its revelations,
and that men of understanding may receive admonition.”
(al-Quran 38:29)

إِنْ هُوَ إِلاَّ ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَالَمِين وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُ بَعْدَ حِينِ َ
"This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. And
you shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while."
(al-Quran 38:87-88)

وَلَقَدْ ضَرَبْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِى هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْآنِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٍ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
قُرْآناً عَرَبِيّاً غَيْرَ ذِى عِوَجٍ لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ
“We have put forth for men, in this Quran every kind
of parable, in order that they may receive admonition.
(It is) a Quran in Arabic, without any crookedness
(therein); in order that they may guard against evil.”
(al-Quran 39:27-28)

Assalaamo-alaikum.
We are glad to see you here. We can accompany you home. By joining us you'll, Inshallah, prepare yourself mentally and spiritually for your onward journey on the road less travelled. We are heading for Home - the promised Home. Allah says:
وَهَـٰذَا صِرَاطُ رَبِّكَ مُسْتَقِيماً قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلآيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
‘This is the path of your Lord, a straight path.
We have detailed Our revelations for a people
who take heed.’ --- (Quran 6:126)

GLORIFY ALLAH'S NAME

Allah is the Creator of heavens and the earth and whatever is in between. Let us glorify HIS name and be thankful to HIM.
سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلأَعْلَىٰ
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
‘Glorify the name of your Lord, the
Most High, Who has created (everything),
and then proportioned it.’
(Quran 87:1-2)

 

DONT CHASE ILLUSION

This is not the real life. This is a shadow, an illusion. The real life is in the Hereafter. So, prepare for it. Allah says:
وَما ٱلْحَيَاةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا إِلاَّ مَتَاعُ ٱلْغُرُورِ
“… The life of this world is but comfort
of illusion.’ … (Quran 3:185)

DON'T SERVE SHAITAN

وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَا ٱلْقُرُونَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُواْ
وَجَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَاتِ وَمَا كَانُواْ
لِيُؤْمِنُواْ كَذٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
‘We destroyed the generations before you
when they did wrong; and their messengers
(from Allah) came unto them with clear
proofs (of His Sovereignty), but they would
not believe. Thus do we reward the guilty
folk.’ --- (Quran 10:13)

The Quran

I am lying on the bed. My children, brothers and sisters are all sitting by my bedside. Some close friends too are standing and overlooking my face. Suddenly I start breathing with long breaths. Someone among the people sitting in the room. Everyone around repeats with the reciter. My breath starts to ease out. I am opening my eyes and looking at something. Angel of death has arrived. I am getting late for the eternal journey. My mouth has opened up. My brother is dropping some water into my mouth, it is perhaps the "Zam Zam" water which I had preserved for the very moment.

Then everyone starts to recite, "Laa'ilaaha illallaaha Muhammadur Rasoolullaah". I have lost my vision. I have lost my tongue, I have even lost my sensation but I can still hear. I can hear my loved ones weeping in grief. I'm not dead yet but I am almost lifeless. Angel of death makes the final act and takes my soul out with an intensive jerk. I have now left this world.

All my wealth, cars, properties, bank balances, contacts and connections are of no use now. My identity is my grave and I am being referred to as 'dead body'. My near ones are preparing my grave and some of them think it as inauspicious to keep the dead body inside the house for too long. The house which I myself built and lived in is shrinking in space for me. My bath is being prepared. I am taken out in the compound for the final bath. My bathroom fitted with expensive bath fittings is not for me now.

I am being wrapped in the white cotton shroud. I am boxed in a wooden box for the travel to my grave. My expensive car is not for me now.

For what then did I amass so many worthless things. Why did I lie to earn the useless wealth. It is of no use to me. Woe to me for I wasted my life in vain. I forgot that my last journey is near and certain. Why did I sin so much ? Oh! I have lost my game.

Now stop imagining This is going to happen one day with you and me. So be prepared. Good deeds will make your journey and the life of the Hereafter pleasant. Remember death. It is certain. It is so near. This world is just a short dream..... WAKE UP B4 ITS TOO LATE!

A Beautiful Hadith Rasulullah (صل الله عليه وسلم) said:
'When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud and the chest of the deceased. When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and Nakeer (names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith. But the handsome man says, 'He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any case. If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job.. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted into Paradise'. Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, 'I am the Qur'an, which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Naker, you will have no grief..' When the interrogation is over, the handsome man arranges for him from Al-Mala'ul A'laa (the angels in Heaven) silk bedding filled with musk.

Rasulullah (صل الله عليه وسلم) said: 'On the Day of Judgement, before Allah, no other Intercessor will have a greater status than the Qur'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel.' Please keep forwarding this 'Hadith' to all ....because Rasulullah
(صل الله عليه وسلم) said: 'Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse'. May Allah bestow this favour on all of us.

We Are Accused Of 
Terrorism

The Zionist Mafia is hell-bent to control (rather conquer) the entire world to serve its political, economic and financial interests; and enforce its own brand of social, cultural, educational and political agenda to educate or program the masses in such a way that nobody can ever say 'NO' to their demands. They are dictating in the name of democracy; they are invading other countries on the false pretexts of terrorism; they are curtailing civil liberties and human rights of the people and spying on them in the name of security; and, above all, they can commit any illegal activity, violate the constitutions or charters of human rights and kill people in the name of 'war on terror'. Those are the designs of an evil empire.

They are changing the governments in all Muslim countries because they think that Islam (or Muslim) is the main obstacle in the way of enforcing their 'new world order' - the hegemony of the world. In the heart of the Muslim region, they created the state of Israel on Palestinian land and are now expanding it by eliminating the Palestinians. Soon, there'll be nobody left to demand the Palestinian homeland. They use the U.N. as a rubber stamp whenever they need to legitimize their crimes against humanity.

Ironically, there are more protests and demonstrations against this new world order in America and Europe than in the Muslim countries who are the real victims of this plan. Most of the Muslim leaders are not honest to their countrymen, therefore, they are corroborating with the tyrants to keep their own fragile governments in place. The Zionist Mafia is supporting such (mostly illegitimate) governments in the Muslim world because it is using them to implement its global acquisition plans.   

During the last 10 years, millions of people have been killed in Iraq, Lybia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Syria, Egypt, Pakistan and some African countries for the sake of New World Order. And today, there are millions of people living under the open skies without a roof over their heads, with no shelter/protection from hot days and cold nights; without even basic amenities like food, water, electricity, etc. All that (injustice and inhuman treatment) in the name of democracy under the New World Order. Muslims were warned by Allah about this over 1400 years ago:

 فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضاً
 وَلَهُم عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْذِبُونَ
"In their hearts is a disease; and Allah has increased 
their disease. And grievous is the penalty they (incur), 
because they are false (to themselves).
(al-Quran 2:10)

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لاَ تُفْسِدُواْ فِى ٱلأَرْضِ قَالُوۤاْ إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ مُصْلِحُونَ
"When it is said to them: "Make not mischief on the earth", 
they say: "Why, we only Want to make peace!" 
(al-Quran 2:11)

أَلاۤ إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْسِدُونَ وَلَـٰكِن لاَّ يَشْعُرُونَ
"Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, 
but they realise (it) not."
(al-Quran 2:10-12)


There are people (intellectuals, writers, poets) who are fighting the war ('Jihad') against this injustice and human massacre with their mouths and pens, as they are unable to wage a physical 'Jihad' against these powerful tyrants. One of these Mujahideen is Nizar Tawfiq Qabbani, a contemporary Arab (Syrian) poet, philosopher, thinker, diplomat (Born: 21/3/1923 in Damascus, Syria. Died: 30/4/1998 in London, UK). Here below are two of his poems. Enjoy it and pray for the Ummah:

We Are Accused Of Terrorism

We are accused of terrorism
If we dare to write about the remains of a homeland
That is scattered in pieces and in decay
In decadence and disarray
About a homeland that is searching for a place
And about a nation that no longer has a face

About a homeland that has nothing left of its great ancient verse
But that of wailing and eulogy
***
About a homeland that has nothing in its horizons
Of freedoms of different types and ideology
***
About a homeland that forbids us from buying a newspaper
Or listen to anything
About a homeland where all birds are always not allowed to sing
About a homeland that out of horror, its writers are using invisible ink
***
About a homeland that resembles poetry in our country
Improvised, imported, loose and of no boundaries
Of foreign tongue and soul
Detached from Man and Land, ignoring their plight as a whole


About a homeland to the negotiating table moves
Without a dignity or shoes
***
About a homeland
That no more has steadfast men
With only women therein
***
Bitterness is in our mouths, in our talk, in our eyes
Will drought also plague our souls as a legacy passed to us
from ancient times?
***
Our nation has nobody left, even the less glorified
No one to say "NO" in the face of those who gave up our
homes, bread and butter
Turning our colorful history into a circus
***
We have not a single honest poem
That has not lost its virginity in a ruler's Harem
***
We grew accustomed to humiliation
Then what is left of Man
If he is comfortable with that?
***
I search the books of history
For men of greatness to deliver us from darkness
To save our women from fires' brutality
***
I search for men of yesterday
But all I find is frightened cats
Fearing for their souls
From the authority of rats
(The frightened cats, scared of the authority of fat rats)
Are we hit by national blindness
Or are we suffering from color blindness
***
We are accused of terrorism
If we refuse to perish
Under Israeli tyranny
That is hampering our unity
Our history
Our Bible and our Quran
Our prophets' land
If that is our sin and crime
Then terrorism is fine
***
We are accused of terrorism
If we refuse to be wiped out
By barbarians, the Mongols or the Jews
If we choose to stone the fragile security council
Which was sacked by the king of caesuras
***
We are accused of terrorism
If we refuse to negotiate with the wolf
And reach out for a whore
***
America is fighting the cultures of Man
Because it lacks one
And against the civilizations because it needs one
It is a gigantic structure but without a wall
***
We are accused of terrorism
If we refuse current times
Where America the arrogant, the mighty, the rich
Became a sworn interpreter of Hebrew.
***

I Am With Terrorism

We are accused of terrorism:
if we throw a rose
to Jerusalem
to al-Khalil
to Ghazza
to an-Nasirah
if we took bread and water
to beleaguered Troy.

We are accused of terrorism:
if we raised our voices against
the regionalism of our leaders.
All changed their rides:
from Unionists
to Brokers.
***
If we committed the heinous crime of culture
if we revolted against the orders of the grand caliph
and the seat of the caliphate
If we read jurisprudence or politics
If we recalled God
and read verse al-Fat-h
[Quran's Chapter of Conquest].
If we listened to the Friday sermon
then we are well-established in the art of terrorism

We are accused of terrorism
if we defended land
and the honor of dust
if we revolted against the rape of people
and our rape
if we defended the last palm trees in our desert
the last stars in our sky
the last syllable of our names
the last milk in our mothers' bosoms
if this was our sin
how beautiful is terrorism!

I am with terrorism
if it is able to save me
from the immigrants from Russia
Romania, Hungaria, and Poland
***
They settled in Palestine
set foot on our shoulders
to steal the minarets of al-Quds
and the door of Aqsa
to steal the arabesques
and the domes.

I am with terrorism
if it will free the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth,
and the virgin, Meriam Betula
and the holy city
from the ambassadors of death and desolation
***
Yesteryear
The nationalist street was fervent
like a wild horse.
The rivers were abundant with the spirit of youth.

But after Oslo,
we no longer had teeth:
we are now a blind and lost people.
***
We are accused of terrorism:
if we defended with full-force
our poetic heritage
our national wall
our rosy civilization
the culture of flutes in our mountains
and the mirrors displaying blackened eyes.

We are accused of terrorism:
if we defended what we wrote
El azure of our sea
and the aroma of ink
if we defended the freedom of the word
and the holiness of books
***
I am with terrorism
if it is able to free a people
from tyrants and tyranny
if it is able to save man from the cruelty of man
to return lemon, olive tree, and bird to the South of Lebanon
and the smile back to Gaza & Golan.

I am with terrorism
if it will save me
from the Caesar of Yehuda
and the Caesar of Rome
***
I am with terrorism
as long as this new world order
is shared
between America and Israel
half-half
***
I am with terrorism
with all my poetry
with all my words
and all my teeth
as long as this new world
is in the hands of a butcher.

I am with terrorism
if the U.S. Senate
enacts judgment
decrees reward and punishment
***
I am with Irhab [terrorism]
as long this new world order
hates the smell of Arab.
***
I am with terrorism
as long as the new world order
wants to slaughter my off-spring.
and send them to dogs.

For all this
I raise my voice high:
I am with terrorism
