Do good here and find its result in the Hereafter - Quran Chapter 11 -112 & 113 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1423) -

Quran Chapter 11 -112 & 113 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1423) -

Do good here and find its result in the Hereafter

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

112.  So tread thou the straight path as thou art commanded, and those who turn (unto Allah) with thee, and transgress not. Lo! He is Seer of what ye do.

113.  And incline not toward those who do wrong lest the Fire will touch you, and ye have no protecting friends against Allah, and afterward ye would not be helped.
112.  Fas-taqim  kamaaa  ‘umirtu  wa  man-  taaba  ma-‘aka  wa  laa  tat-gaw.  ‘InnaHuu  bimaa  ta’-maluuna  Basiir.

113.  Wa  laa  tar-kanuuu  ‘ilal-laziina  zalamuu  fata-massa-kumun-Naaru,  wa  maa  la-kum-min-  duu-Nillaahi  min  ‘aw-li-yaaa-‘a  summa  laa  tunsa-ruun.

Commentary

Laa  tat-gaw – (transgress not, you should not violate), it is a negative sentence from the word tug-yaan. Tug-yaan means “to cross the line, to transgress”.

Laa  tar-kanuuu – (do not incline, you should not lean), it is also a negative sentence from the word “rakuuna”, origin of which is r-k-n. Meaning of rakuuna is “to bend, to incline, to be abashed”.

It is clear that bundle of wishes has been filled in the human being and his life cannot run without fulfillment of his desires, but having control over them and fulfilling them by living under the limitations of the Divine Way of the Religion, is compulsory for a successful life. If someone violated the limits, he went astray. Striking him out from the limits of the Divine Law and misleading; is the actual aim of his enemies. They try their best to motivate “Life cannot be enjoyed without fulfilling the desires fearlessly”.

In this verse, it has been instructed that the Muslims should neither transgress and nor listen to those who went astray. They should tread the straight path by following and obeying the command of God’s last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).

Allah Almighty has been seeing your entire deeds. Behold! You should not be entangled in the trap of so-called independence. Otherwise, you will be included in the list of wrongdoers and the Fire of the Hell will take you in its entanglement. Remember! There is no protecting friend of yours save Allah Almighty.

(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

110.  And We verily gave unto Moses the Scripture, and there was strife thereupon. And had it not been for a Word that had already gone forth from thy Lord, the case would have been judged between them. And lo! They are in grave doubt concerning it.

111.  And lo! Unto each thy Lord will verily repay his works in full. Lo! He is Aware of what they do.

Commentary

Lammaa – (when the time will come), it is an adverb of time by bringing the next and previous composition together, after it the time will come, naturally it is understood. Therefore, it has not been mentioned in words.

Yu-waffi-yanna-hum – (will repay them in full), its origin is yu-waffii, which has been derived from ta-waffi-yatun. Its single is wa-faa’, which means “accomplishing and performing a promise”. Earlier, it has been used in many forms. Ta-waffi-yatun means “to clear accounts, to dispose of”.

From the nation of Moses (peace be upon him), some people believed but others did not. However, Allah Almighty has already decided that reward and punishment concerning good and wicked deeds will be given to the mankind on the Day of Resurrection. They are in grave doubt regarding the Day of Resurrection, Reward and Punishment. This doubt does not let them decide correctly. Allah Almighty will repay in full to every individual; retaliation of their good or evil deeds; on the Day of Resurrection. Your Lord does not make haste in punishment, because the Day of Judgment has already been fixed.

(Section 10)

Commentary

Manquus (abated), it is Passive Participle from the word naq-sun, which means “to abate, to decrease, to lessen”. Word nuq-saan has been derived from the same origin, which means “loss”.

Maximum people in the world are taken in by observing that disbelievers, idol-worshippers and the worshippers of their own desires are rich and prosperous. They think that “perhaps the act of worshipping the idols is correct, because we see that their worshippers (idolaters) have been enjoying their lives in the world fearlessly. They have collected treasures of the wealth which have been increasing day by day. And along with it, they have been becoming more rebellious.

In this verse, Allah Almighty has addressed to His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him); but His object is to cause to understand the Muslims that they should not be deceived of looking the idolaters wealthy and prosperous, and they should not draw as a conclusion from it that either idol worshipping is a good thing or there is no harm in contradiction of Allah Almighty.

The actual matter is that prosperity has not been bestowed to them by the idols. Worshipping idols has been set up into them in the form of a custom and it has been coming into them since the times of their forefathers.

Prosperity was given to them by Us (Allah Almighty). We wish to test them that whether they are thankful to their Lord or otherwise? Whether they know Him Who gives wealth and property or not? On the Day of Resurrection, entire wealth will be proved as useless. Idolaters and those will be punished properly who denied their Creator, Allah Almighty.

A God’s Gift Unfailing - Quran Chapter 11 -108 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1420) -

Quran Chapter 11 -108 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1420) -

A God’s Gift Unfailing

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

108.  And as for those who will be fortunate (that Day) they will be in the Garden, abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy Lord willeth; a gift unfailing.
108.  Wa  ‘ammal-laziina  su-‘iduu  fafil-Jannati  khaali-diina  fiihaa  Maa  daa-matis-samaawaatu  wal-‘arzu  ‘illaa  maa  shaaa-‘a  Rabbuk.  ‘Ataaa-‘an  gayra  maj-zuuz.

Commentary

Gayra  maj-zuuz – (unfailing), gayra means “no, not, nay. Maj-zuuz means “cut, broken”, this word is Passive Participle from J-z-z. Its origin is jazzun, which means “to cut, to break off”. Here it aims “to lose, to break, to cut off”. Maj-zuuz means “finished, deducted”.

Those people who used to care the commandments of Allah Almighty in all matters during their worldly life; and they were not slaves of their wishes but used to keep them under their control, risk their lives for obedience and worship of Allah Almighty, and they did not use to take any step against the Divine Way of the Religion, their such good deeds will be changed in the form of evergreen Gardens, abounding with flowers and fruits. Those are the fortunate, dutiful and happy people.

In this verse, it has been described about them that these lucky people will enter in the Paradise and they will abide there forever. Their good works, for which they used to endure hard labor, on that Day, will embrace them by becoming in the form of luxuriant Gardens and will never leave them. They will dwell in the Gardens always, but with the Will of Allah Almighty, they can achieve higher ranks than it also, in which there will be much more pleasure and comfort.

In short, blessings of Allah Almighty will keep them surrounded every time and every moment, which will never be finished. In both above mentioned verses, we have been taught this elegant-manner that whenever any individual intends or promises, he should say “’Illaa  Maa  shaaa-‘Allaah (but what God wills), whether that is much strong and true.

Abode in the Fire forever - Quran Chapter 11 -106 & 107 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1419) -

Abode in the Fire forever

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

106.  As for those who will be wretched (on that Day) they will be in the Fire; sighing and wailing will be their portion therein-

107.  Abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy Lord willeth. Lo! Thy Lord is Doer of what He will.
106.  Fa-‘ammal-laziina  shaquu  fa-finnaari  lahum  fiihaa  zafii-runw-wa  shahiiq.

107.  Khaali-diina  fiihaa  maa  daamatis-samaa-waatu  wal-‘arzu  ‘illaa  maa  shaaa-‘a  Rabbuk.  ‘Inna  Rabbaka  Fa-‘aalul-limaa  yuriid.

Commentary

Shaquu – (the wretched people), origin of this word is shaqaawatun. Shaqaawatun means “exclusion from good things”.

Zafii-runw-wa  shahiiqun – (sighing and wailing), zafiir means “strong voice which comes out from the mouth”. Shahiiq means “such light sound; in which a person inhales and expires audibly. When a donkey begins to cry; that sound is called zafiir, but the voice of its end is called shahiiq. The Hellish people will wail and sigh in the same manner.

Fa-‘aalun – (The Doer), it is a hyperbole tense from the word “fa-‘a-la. It aims that neither He delays in doing any work and nor feels any trouble.

It is commanded that those people who disobeyed Allah Almighty during their life of this world and remained involved in such works which were forbidden by Him, for them; judgment will be given that they should be in the Fire. This Fire will be of every individual’s personal such wicked deeds; which seemed to the person good and comfort-provider during his/her worldly life. Forms and conditions of those works will be changed and those will be proved as very painful and supplier of restlessness. Those luckless people will be burnt continuously in the Hell until the earth and the heavens will remain established, and they will cry and scream due to pain. The earth and the heavens would exist also on the Day of Resurrection, so getting rid of those wretched people from the painful doom would not be possible. However, Doer is Allah Almighty; He will do what He will.

Full substance regarding human life - Quran Chapter 11 -105 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1418) -

Quran Chapter 11 -105 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1418) -

Full substance regarding human life

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

105.  On the Day when it cometh no soul will speak except by His permission; some among them will be wretched and some fortunate.
105.  Yawma  ya’-ti  laa  takal-lamu  nafsun  ‘illaa  bi-‘izniH.  Fa-min-hum  sha-qiyyunw-wa  sa-‘iid.

Commentary

Laa  takal-lamu – (will not speak), this word has been derived from “kalaam”, which means “the word”.

In this verse, full substance regarding human life has been given and its end has been described. Aim of Holy Qur’an is that the human being should see his worldly life with such point of view that it (the life) is a source of preparation for the Day of Resurrection. It is a vast field in which; bad things have been spread; having apparent beautiful form, but the good things in apparent ill-looking form. And the human beings have been empowered that they should choose, by using their sense, good things after knowing; but leave bad things after recognizing.

It has been explained in the above mentioned verse that when the Day of Resurrection will come, its first peculiarity would be that no individual would be able to speak; even any one word, because speaking is an action of the human being, which can be done freely only in this world. And for this, reward and punishment has been fixed, which is given also in this word. But the Hereafter is not “Place of Practice”, so there; power of speaking will be snatched from the mankind. As he will not have any control over other limbs, the tongue is also a part of the body. Like other members; it will also be not able to do something without permission of Allah Almighty; on that Day.

This Truth will be disclosed for every human being on the Day of Resurrection that his entire walking, running, moving, confusion and satisfaction etc. were in accordance with the Commandment of Allah Almighty. Because the days of mankind’s’ controlled deeds have been over in the world, therefore, now, he is not under own control. And whatever has been appearing, is result of their worldly deeds. Accordingly, some people would be lucky and some misfortunate. In short, every individual would be enjoying consequence of own deeds.

102.  Even thus is the grasp of thy Lord when He graspeth the townships (or communities) while they are doing wrong. Lo! His grasp is painful, very strong.

103.  Lo! Herein verily there is a portent for those who fear the doom of the Hereafter. That is a Day unto which mankind will be gathered, and that is a Day when all will be presented (before Allah).

104.  And We defer it only to a term already reckoned.
102.  Wa  kazaa-lika  ‘akhzu  Rabbika  ‘izaaa  ‘akhazal-quraa  wa  hi-ya  zaa-limah.  ‘Inna  ‘akh-zaHuuu  ‘aliimun  shadiid..

104.  Wa  maa  Nu-‘akh-khiru-huuu  ‘illaa  li-‘ajalim-ma’-duud.

Commentary

After studying the circumstances of ancient nations, it seems clearly that, which punishments were given to them, its reason was that they turned away from those deeds; in which; usefulness for them was hidden, and they chose such works which were forbidden by their Creator.

Allah Almighty does not give severe punishment immediately to the people due to their errors, but He gives a respite to them and causes to understand them by sending His Messengers and Prophets (peace be upon them) along with His clear Signs. When they do not understand, then He punishes them severely.

From these verses, it is also known that certainly a Day will come for giving the retaliation of deeds (good or bad), name of which is “the Day of Resurrection”. All human beings will be gathered on that Day and presented before Allah Almighty. A time has been fixed for that Day, till then; this world will be kept up, so that the people may do all necessary works. After that they all will be assembled, and decision about them will be finalized that “It is full remuneration of your deeds; which is being given to you Today (the Day of Resurrection)”. It has also been mentioned that “Adversity of this world is for remembrance of the doom of That Day”.
